Tove Lo and Charli XCX are working on a new album together.
In Palm Springs, the two have been writing songs, and Charli has described it as the "best music ever."
On Instagram, she wrote: "@tovelo and I have been out in Palm Springs for a week (tested and safe) writing songs together, and we have been making the best music ever!!!!! In the meantime, check out my modified motherf****** future playlist at the link in my bio and make sure you listen to it from beginning to end SUPER LOUD!!!! (sic)."
Tove Lo wrote on her Facebook page about the message: "Yes, indeed. I enjoy collaborating with you on projects."
Charli, 28, has recently revealed that she feels like a "outsider" in the music business.
"I feel that outside of my fans, I don't really give people the opportunity to feel much ownership over me or my decisions, which is possibly why I have a sort of outsider status within pop music and also face rejection from the "industry" side of music often (sic)," she tweeted.
She went on to say: "I still give credit to my partners. Producers/mixers/artists with whom I work, etc. I've never claimed sole responsibility for the songs I release, but I also acknowledge that none of my art would be the same or even possible without my own vision and talent (sic)."
