All Points East 2021 will be headlined by Foals.

The headliners for the All Points East festival have been named as Foals.

On August 30, Yannis Philippakis and his band will perform in London's Victoria Park, and fans may hear a couple of new songs from the band.

“We're super happy to be playing at APE this summer,” the 'My Number' hitmakers said in a tweet. It'll be extra special because Victoria Park is one of our spiritual homes. We're actually hard at work in the lab, and who knows, maybe we'll throw in a new riff or two!"

In addition to Foals, Bombay Bicycle Club, Caribou, Gang Of Youths, Roisin Murphy, Whitney, Jade Bird, Tune-Yards, Nadine Shah, Ghostpoet, Maisie Peters, The Magic Gang, Holly Humberstone, and others have all reported to play.

The latest headliner news follows Kano's announcement that APE would close on August 28.

"It feels so amazing to finally be announcing our first day of All Points East 2021," Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents' European Festivals, said. The opportunity to bask in the summer sun in Victoria Park is justification enough to rejoice.

"The fact that we're returning with such a wonderful first lineup announcement just adds to the excitement."

Jim is looking forward to the return of festivals later this year, expressing his enthusiasm about the line-up. Jamie xx will also perform at the show.

"There are some exciting changes this year, like our switch to the August Bank Holiday weekend," he said, looking forward to the gathering. On Saturday, we have two incredible co-headliners, Jamie xx and Kano, as well as a slew of other incredible artists.

"We can't wait to see live music return to the UK and party with you all again later this summer."

Christine and the Queens and Show Me The Horizon made their first headlining appearances at the 2019 edition of the festival.

Last year, however, the festival was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday (26.03.21) through www.allpointseastfestival.com.
